FLUORO-X® high-barrier type
These heat exchangers are made from fluoropolymers that offer excellent barrier properties.
- Double-layer structure with tube outer layer (process fluid side) made from PFA fluoropolymer and inner layer (cooling water side) made from a high-barrier fluoropolymer
- Capable of withstanding most chemicals and solvents
- High-barrier fluoropolymer used in the tube inner layer (cooling water side) offers high barrier properties against acids (e.g., hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid) and ammonia and suppresses the permeation/transfer of liquid from the process fluid side to the cooling water side, minimizing pH changes in cooling water and adverse effects on cooling water pipes and pumps.
